Parabolic starlike mappings of the unit ball $B^n$

Let $f$ be a locally univalent function on the unit disk $U$. We consider the normalized extensions of $f$ to the Euclidean unit ball $B^nsubseteqmathbb{C}^n$ given by $$Phi_{n,gamma}(f)(z)=left(f(z_1),(f'(z_1))^gammahat{z}right),$$  where $gammain[0,1/2]$, $z=(z_1,hat{z})in B^n$ and $$Psi_{n,beta}(f)(z)=left(f(z_1),(frac{f(z_1)}{z_1})^betahat{z}right),$$ in which $betain[0,1]$, $f(z_1)neq 0$ a...

On the $k$-ary ‎M‎oment Map

The moment map is a mathematical expression of the concept of the conservation associated with the symmetries of a Hamiltonian system. The abstract moment map is defined from G-manifold M to dual Lie algebra of G. We will interested study maps from G-manifold M to spaces that are more general than dual Lie algebra of G. These maps help us to reduce the dimension of a manifold much more.

The Structure of Two-parabolic Space: Parabolic Dust and Iteration

A non-elementary Möbius group generated by twoparabolics is determined up to conjugation by one complex parameter and the parameter space has been extensively studied. In this paper, we use the results of [7] to obtain an additional structure for the parameter space, which we term the two-parabolic space. This structure allows us to identify groups that contain additional conjugacy classes of p...

The symmetric parabolic resonance

The parabolic resonance instability emerges in diverse applications ranging from optical systems to simple mechanical ones. It appears persistently in p-parameter families of near-integrable Hamiltonian systems with n degrees of freedom provided n + p 3. Here we study the simplest (n = 2, p = 1) symmetric case. The structure and the phase-space volume of the corresponding instability zones are ...

The Parabolic Anderson Model

This is a survey on the intermittent behavior of the parabolic Anderson model, which is the Cauchy problem for the heat equation with random potential on the lattice Z. We first introduce the model and give heuristic explanations of the long-time behavior of the solution, both in the annealed and the quenched setting for time-independent potentials. We thereby consider examples of potentials st...
